IELTS Complete Reading Practice Test

The Reading section lasts 60 minutes, which includes the time needed to transfer your answers if you are taking the paper test.

The Reading portion of the IELTS exam is divided into 3 sections, with a combined text length of between 2150 and 2750 words, and it contains 40 questions in total.

For marking, every correct answer earns 1 mark. Your overall performance is reported as a band score ranging from 1 to 9, given in either whole or half bands, for example 5.0 or 7.5.

You can move forward or backward between different sections or answers using the answer tracker located at the bottom of the test panel. This tracker also shows you which questions you have completed or skipped.

The timer will start when you select the Begin button.
