The line graph below shows the number of international students enrolled in universities in three different countries (USA, UK, and Australia) from 2010 to 2020.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
IELTS Complete Writing Test
The Writing section consists of two tasks, and you are required to finish both.
For Task 1, you must explain visual information, such as a graph, table, chart, or diagram, in your own words. You should write a minimum of 150 words within 20 minutes.
For Task 2, you are presented with an opinion, argument, or problem to address. For this task, you should write at least 250 words in 40 minutes.
Your responses must be written in complete sentences rather than as notes or bullet points. While you may jot down notes on the question paper, the examiner will not review them.
You can complete the tasks in whichever order you prefer.
The timer for Task 1 will start when you select the Begin button. It will pause if you choose to switch to Task 2, and it will begin again when you return to Task 1.
